24th July 1935. Very bright hot sun all day, with strong cool easterly wind. Insects numerous but very wild & difficult to see or catch.

Woods & river banks &c, Glengarriff Lodge, Co. WC. as on previous day. 11 AM till 4.0 PM.

[[underlined]] Ichneumon [[/underlined]] small [[male symbol]] : = [[underlined]] I. gracilentus [[/underlined]]?

[[underlined]] Proscus suspicax [[/underlined]] Wesm. ? 1 [[female symbol]] on birch trunk by ford over river surrounded by [[2 male symbols]] & I think in cop. with one of them; [[female symbol]] & some only of the [[2 male symbols]] taken with sucker.
[[underlined]] Exolytus [[/underlined]] or [[underlined]] Attractides [[/underlined]] ? 1 [[male symbol]] . = [[space]]

[[female symbol]] [[line indicating insertion]] [[insertion]] [[underlined]] Spilocryptus (Glyph.) parriventris [[/underlined]] [[female symbol]] [[/insertion]] Cryptid with very bright red abd. & white "points" on legs on grass or bracken!
