28th July 1935. Very hot & sunny in morning : more windy & cloudy in afternoon.
12.30 noon till 1.30 PM.
Roadside near Barony River bridge & behind Roche's Hotel, Glengarriff, Co. WC.
(During this hour I dont think I have even seen the common Halicti, &c., so abundant & active, though in the same places there was little or nothing to be seen two hours later, even in very hot sun).
[[underlined]] Andrena denticulata [[/underlined]] [[2 female symbols]] frequent on Ragwort & one taken on [[underlined]] Leontodon autumnalis [[/underlined]].
[[underlined]] Megachile versicolor [[/underlined]] 1 [[female symbol]] on flowers of [[underlined]] Carduus lanceolatus [[/underlined]]. 
[[underlined]] Nomada rufipes [[/underlined]] 3 [[2 male symbols]] on heathery bank on side road behind. Roche's Hotel, where J. E. Flynn had reported 
[[underlined]] A. denticulata [[/underlined]] nesting, through none of the latter seen there by me on this date.

28/7/35 Afternoon. 3.30 till 6.30 PM.
Covered same ground as in morning, but finding little stirring wandered up the hill-side [[insertion]] ^ = W. slope of Cob bluff [[/insertion]] N.E. - wards & back down stream which supplies Roche's Hotel with water Glengarriff, Co. WC.

Unsure of [[Exbadizon extinsor?]] and [[Hedylus habilus?]] -@siobhanleachman I believe [[Exbadizon extinsor?]] is Eubadizon (now known as Charmon) extensor, with the 't' crossed far over, making it look like an i. :) Agree with Hedylus habilus - as variant of 'habilis'. - GigglePop
