22nd August 1935. A fine sunny day, warm, but very strong S.W. wind. With J.F. Perkins & "Jane" Brown.
[[underlined]] Slade of Saggart, Co. DU. [[/underlined]] 2.0 till 5.0 PM.
Most insects taken by sweeping grass, &c on west side of slade by stream & under trees, [[underlined]] Dacnusa [[/underlined]] & other small Braconids very abundant & many taken & given to me by J.F.P. & some by Jane Brown.
In return gave most of my icks to J.F.P. including a [[male symbol]] [[underlined]] Promethes scutellatus [[/underlined]] & a [[female symbol]] [[underlined]] Acrodactyla degener [[/underlined]].
The following species were kept & mounted on card by me:-
