29th Sept. 1935. A fine morning, but wind (SW) rising about 11AM. brought up a depression in afternoon with cloud & rain & fall of temperature. Many small insects out in shelter & nearly all taken with the sucker, as grass &c too wet to sweep after recent heavy rain.
