13th Oct. 1935. Very windy, with slight showers in afternoon, but mild in shelter. A rather poor day & wind kept insects shy.
Glen of the Cookstown River ([[underlined]] Glencullen [[/underlined]]) above Enniskerry, Co. WI., with E. O'Mahony, noon till 3.30 PM.
Most insects taken by sweeping or with sucker, some on left bank of river in woods, but the majority on right bank near top of wood. Several [[?]] taken with sucker on patches of cow-dung, a week or ten days old.
