4th June 1939  Cloudless & very hot.  Sunday. 
In forenoon swept in shade along Carey River at 2 1/2 miles after Bunnamargy Abbey 11 till 12.30. 
In afternoon spent time in shade of cliffs near Bath Lodge & did not collect.
In evening swept very nice marsh on left bank of Carey River, 1 mile above Abbey, & under trees in [[strikethrough]] wood at [[/strikethrough]] wood on right bank near some place, where footbridge is.  8 till 10 P.M.
