The eighth and ninth clear sunny roasting hot day in succession.  Too hot to go hunting!

Crabro varius, Hylaeus communis  2 ♂♂, one much larger than the other, Chrysis ignita, but, as during season 1939, very few of the holes occupied in the evening.
