Sigalphus aciculatus Ratz.  ♂︎♂︎ at oak, some with tergite 3 highly polished for the most part & others with this strongly striolate.  Two ♂︎♂︎ mounted one with "smooth" the other with "striate" tergite 3, ant. 27 & 26 respectively.

Alloea contracta  1♂︎:  not mtd.

A fine day with NW. breeze & much sun:  more genial than for some time & many insects out in garden.  On duty in Museum in afternoon so did not go anywhere.  Collected in back garden with sucker in forenoon where the following taken & all mounted!
