Cool east wind, dry, with rain on night of 20th-21st.

Warmer again, dull in forenoon, sunny in afternoon when drove to Louisa Bridge, Leixlip, KD., to get specimens of snail Amphipeplea glutinosa in canal on stonework of bridge for A.F. Davis & party on Sat.  See below!

Swept for 20 minutes on slope from canal to marsh & around same;  near the chalybeate well & took a few hymenoptera as follows:-
