30th June 1952. 

A very bright windy day (W.) after a stormy night & rain all previous evening;  warm & nearly all sunny.  Spent forenoon clearing up yesterday's catch, but in afternoon collected in three areas as follows:-

1. In lane to pier & edge of field E of lane & below the Z in lane.  2.30-3.30 P.M.
2. After afternoon tea.  Above road & by stream & old sunk roadway at ruined cottage W. of the Lawers Burn alt. ca. 800 ft.
3. In deep "glen" of tributary on W. side of Lawers Burn in Conifer plantation Alt. ca. 1,000 ft.  4:30-6:30 P.M.
