North Carolina } Court of Pleas and Quarter Greene County } Sessions Nov Term 1863 Then is the foregoing and written paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of Henry Grainger deceased exhibited for probate in open Court by Edward Patrick & Henry F. Grainger the executors named therein, and the due execution thereof is proved by the oath and examination of John M. Patrick one of the subscribing witnesses thereto. Whereupon it is considered by the court that the said paper writing and every part thereof is the last will and testament of the said Henry Grainger And the said Edward and Henry F. Grainger are duly qualified as executors of said will on entering into bond in the sum of $50,000 with John Grainger, John M. Patrick and John Henry as surities. Bond given. R.W. Best C.C. Clark for. D.A. Spiney. D.C. State of North Carolina } May 5th A.D. 1866 Greene County } I D.A. Spivey Clerk of Greene County Court do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the last will & testament of Henry Grainger dec. and probate of the same on file in this office.
