Sagittarius examination of Black Holes continued

Hole at 18h 3.5m - 28 [[symbol - degree ]]20'
The clearness of the background in contrast with the prevailing gray is as marked as in the case of the hole at 17^[[h]]56^[[m]]. The sur-rounding region is comparatively open.

There are many more stars on the Bruce plate than on the Bache plate, but the hole itself is as [[strikethrough]]empty[[/strikethrough]] vacant on the former as on the latter. Examination of a region about a [[strikethrough]]milli[[/strikethrough]]centimeter square reveals no variable star. Comparison, of course, much less satisfactory than would be the case if two Bruce plates of long exposure had been available.

Plate A2735 covers this region. To be examined later.

The image on A3635 is poor and the variable may not be really brighter than on A3634. There is a scratch over the image on A5687, but it is cer-tainly neither very bright nor very faint.
