Suspected Variable Found by H.S.L. near "unknown star" of prev. page. Approx. pos. 8^[[h]] 29.5^[[m]] +30° 31.0' (1855)

[[strikethrough]]
Examination of several plates shows that the suspected variable is not a star but defects in nearly the same position on two plates caused the mistake.
The image on Plate I3316 is remarkably similar to a star image. Can it possibly be so? It appears on none of the following plates:
I8302 (A star like images appears remarkably close to pos.)
I24069

I find it to be a prismatic companion!
