Hemlock Bluffs. 11:55 A.M.

Feb. 16, 1902
It warm and sunny this morning with a few flurries of snow. Crows were flying around the Hemlocks in considerable numbers.
[[marginalia]] notes [[/marginalia]] One flew along giving the usual [[underlined]] Caw Caw [[/underlined]] and suddenly gave a rapid [[underlined]] Cow Cow Cow Cow. [[/underlined]] I never heard this note before. One would call and another would answer. When in a tree the [[underlined]] Caw Caw [[/underlined]] was giving with a violent up and down motion of the body as though it was hard to give.
