April 16, Thursday
This morning before I got up I heard a Ruby-crowned Kinglet give as song like [[underline]]tur tur tur tur tur tur week su[[/underline]] when I got up I could not find it.

Watched a Bronzed Grackle feeding in the road. It dragged three or four angie worms out of a puddle and laid them in a hollow after it had collected a big branch it took them up on the grass and ate them. It did not seem to like to pick them up very well. It did not seem to see me but flew at a slight motion. It looked at the ground and not at at its surroundings like a robin. One took a big

bunch of worms into a pine where I could not see him to eat them. One was gathering straw for a nest.

They are a few male Juncoes around feeding on the lawns.

Two Robins by Ringlings are very tame they hardly get out of my way as I go past. One bathed out in a mudpuddle trying three or four before it found one deep enough to suit.

April 18, Saturday.
