[[underlined]] BQ, [[/underlined]] Nov. 17, 1962, II

immediately flies back to its presumed mate, which had remained in the feeding bush. One or both of the I birds utters a brief twittering phrase of variable "Zee zee zee ..." notes, apparently as "greeting"!!! Then both feed, close together, uttering occasional single ordinary "Tsit"s. Then one bird flies away. Almost certainly same bird which had been reacting to II. Flies into nearby tree. Apparently sings MS phrases.
