NOTE: It is supposed to be the middle of the (or "a") dry season here now. And Horacio says that if has, in fact, been rather dry recently.

Everything dead quiet 5:25 pm.

^[[Scan]] Both single Scan and single Andean Sparrow in red Abu. 4-6 ft apart. Scan does [[underlined]] not [[/underlined]] attack Sparrow. (Sparrow seems to be feeding on sepals of Abu - probably just like Goldfinch at Bogotá!) 

^[[Scan]] One Scan uttering brief, rather soft, low-intensity-sounding "chuk" Song 5:40 pm.

Stopping observation 5:45 pm.

NOTE: According to my altimeter now, the altitude here is 7750 ft 2350m.

I am really amazed by the difference between the faunas here and at Finca Canaan! (the areas look similar, in [[underlined]] some [[/underlined]] ways, and are of comparable altitude.)
