[[margin]] Cy [[/margin]]
another around a tree-top. Apparently a pair repelling an intruder With lots and lots of song. This brings a neighboring pair over to the near edge of their territory, and they also utter a lot of song. Songs preceded by "Tuck"s. (These must be hostile.) One type of song was more or less comme ça:

"Tuck tuck tsawee [[image:sound pattern of notes]]"

At the height of the meleé, some twitters accelerated into real R's or Trills. Tended to end with little bursts of Trills: "brrp brrp brrp"

[[margin]] Cy [[/margin]]
Cy are really very common around here

[[margin]] Albi [[/margin]]
There was one Albi or Buff-throat song in the middle of this burst of Cy songs. As if the Albi couldn't contain itself any longer, what with all the excitement in the neighborhood.

[[margin]] Cy [[/margin]]
8:23. Back in "pocket". More Cy songs. Beginning with "Tuk"s. Possibly a boundary dispute; but, if so, not very intense or active
Albi songs begin immediately after Cy songs stop.

[[margin]] Cy [[/margin]]
Come across a single Cy, feeding peacefully and quite undisturbed on flowers of vine, about 10-20 ft above ground. In these circumstances, its CN's are "Tsit"s. Obviously "normal". Uttered with slightly less than moderate frequency.

[[margin]] Cy Albi [[/margin]]
Then this bird flies to join a presumed mate in another tree. This is followed by burst of not very long song. Greeting? Then birds stop singing; although they continue to utter CN's. Immediately, a single adult ♂ Albi utters one song. Then for several minutes, there is a very regular alteration; 1 burst Cy song, 1 Albi song, 1 burst of Cy song, 1 Albi song.......
