Arrive Teleferico #2 (La Aguada) 3452 m. There walk along the path. Run across patch of thick, cow, montane forest, cutting into Paramo along ravine. Approximately same level as Teleferico station 7:45 a.m.

Some noise of birds, but not much

8:10 a.m. Two birds ✓✓ [[two red checks]] ✓✓6 [[# and two checks in blue]] which are almost certainly Diglossas fly by. Apparent chase. One utters rather low R. Unfortunately, I can't identify the species!

8:50 a.m. Below the Teleferico station, there are hummingbirds feeding on pink tubular flowers. But no Diglossas that I can see

[] Glor 113 []
8:58. Same area. Single Diglossa 7✓✓✓ [[red, black, and blue checks, blue 7]] flies by. Almost certainly Glor or Laf. Conspicuous humeral patches. But I don't get really good view. Bird quite silent. Feeds actively very low in scrub, 1-2 ft above ground

Fog coming in now!
[] Glor 114 []
9:24 am. Same area. Get beautiful view of undoubted Glor 8✓✓✓ [[blue, black, red checks, and blue #]]. Perched quietly top of bush. 6 ft off ground. Silent. Flies away (This area must be slightly over 3000 m. Where the hell are the Lafs?)

9:30. Hear song phrases in distance which might be either glor or a hummingbird

[] Glor 115 []
9:40. Approximately 100 ft further on, slightly up hill, get another good view of (another) Glor. ✓✓✓9 [[red, black, and blue checks, and blue #]]Quite alone. Silent. Watching me nervously from a bare branch, 3 ft above ground. (This is not far from the tubular pink flowers seen earlier
