[[margin]] CC [[/margin]] NOTE: The single CC seen early this morning was pure buffy all over the underparts.

[[margin]] Gen Laf [[/margin]] COMMENT: The local Whitestart seems to be a full member of the "mutual song inhibition complex" here. The only Diglossa singing frequently here now is Laf. Certainly the Lafs and the Whitestarts are being [[underlined]] very [[/underlined]] careful not to overlap.

[[margin]] Gen [[/margin]] Up to now (7:25 am) I have heard relatively few other Diglossa or Conirostrum species Singing. And I have yet to [[underlined]] see [[/underlined]] any of these others while they were Singing. So I don't know, for sure, exactly what species are involved. But [[underlined]] certainly [[/underlined]] something(s) is (are) uttering Ater or CC type Song phrases occasionally. And these have not overlapped with either Lafs or Whitestarts.

Conceivably, the local Atlapetes may also be a member of the local "mutual song inhibition complex." But Atlapetes Songs are very rare here now.
