6:38 Finally see singing Atlapetes ^[[two check marks]]. Perched exposed 3 ft up in small branch. Definitely rufinucha. Definitely alone.

All the Atlapetes Songs here are essentially similar. I.E. [[underlined]]the only species here is rufinucha[[/underlined]]! Both PL and [[underlined]]pallidinucha[[/underlined]] absent.
Presumably the latter two species are confined to more humid areas in this region. [[underlined]]The ecological segregation between Altapetes species seems to be comparatively very rigid.[[/underlined]]

Clouds coming up 6:47 am.
Altapetes still continuing Songs. NODWAH.
[[margin]Ater[[/margin]] See a single Ater silent and alone. Flyin from brush to trees br.

[[margin]]Cinn[[/margin]] 6:53. can hear some Cinn disputes in distance.
See another single Alter 2^[[two check marks]] alone. 3 ft upon scrub. Flies into adjacent brush where there is another Ater 1^[[one check mark]]. Both flit off. One utters [[margin]]Ater Cinn[[/margin]] Twitter - zaza. Cinn flies close by overhead. No overt reaction between the two species.
[[margin]]Scan[[/margin]] 6:58. Both Altapetes and Scan have shut up. In fact, everything is very quiet.
