Going to work at "9350 ft level" this morning. Arrive 5:55 a.m. Starting to get light. Clear, cool, windy.

Car stops at usual site. According to my altimeter [[underlined]] now [[/underlined]], this is 9410 ft. (Altimeter certainly varies with weather!)

[[underlined]] atropileus [[/underlined]] DC starts 5:58. Then there are lots of thrush sounds. 

First Whitestart Song 6:01. NODWAH. Overlapping DC and Rfl's at random. Stops. [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] Sings. NODWAH. Stops. Whitestart Sings again. NODWAH. All very nice! Whitestart stops. [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] Sings. NODWAH. Then both Whitestart and [[underlined]] rufinucha [[/underlined]] Sing with [[underlined]] some partial and complete overlaps [[/underlined]].
