Conway tells me that labradoroides (another green species!) has a song like that of the Black-winged Palm Tanager.

I myself have seen the single labradoroides here do a prolonged and apparently silent G toward the Iridasornis in the same cage. (The Iridasonis chases the Metallic Green Calliste quite frequently in an apparently hostile manner.)

The long cage in which I keep my 4 captive Plains and 4 captive Golden-masks was visited by quite a large mixed flock for quite a while this morning, (including at least 1 Golden-mask, 2 Plains, 2 Blues, 1 Palm, 1 Hatey Ant-sluclie, and 1 pair of Variable Seed-eaters.)  Lots of reactions.

The Golden-masks were by far the most violent and energetic in their actions and reactions.  The visitor flew down to cling to the side or top of the cage very frequently, and the 4 captive birds usually
