#1521 "Three Skulls"

Water Color: 19" x 24-3/4"

Showing three skulls on a table which is decorated by a richly designed cover. The background is beautifully colored to give a stronger accent to the white of the skulls.

It is interesting to note that photographs of the interior of Cezanne's studio at Aix en Provence which were made in the last few years and which appeared illustrating an article on Cezanne in an art magazine about two years ago, show this same cover and one of the skulls still there.
