May 23rd., 1942. Dear Mr. Perls: I am more than surprised at having no word from you regarding the RENOIR "Nude" which was shipped to you on April 2nd., and cannot understand why you should have ignored my wire of the 18th., asking what decision had been reached in connection with it. Please let me hear from you by return Air Mail, as I have someone here who is definitely interested in it. Yours very truly, (Germain Séligmann) Frank Perls, Esq., Frank Perls Gallery, 8634 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, Cal.
