Dear Mr. Levy:

I am sorry not to have been able to spend more time with you.

I would appreciate it very much if you could send the Monet marine and the Gauguin as soon as possible. I am sure we will get some good results with your pictures. It would be well to air mail the photographs so that I can prepare my clients before hand. I will devote the next two weeks to Los Angeles with these pictures, as after that I expect to be in Mexico.

One reason Bignou has done good business in Los Angeles is the fact that he has had many pictures here at all times, and it doesn't seem right that we should hand him the business on a silver platter. Therefore, I am willing to put my time and energy in building up a market for some of your pictures.

I hope you received the kodachrome of the Rouault. It was not so good and does not do the picture justice. I will be glad to send the picture on if you think you have a client for it. The price to me would be $1,000.

Because of the great show at the Museum, it is important that these pictures get here as soon as possible, as this exhibition will create many new desires with our collectors.

With kindest personal regards.

Sincerely yours,
