July 13th., 1945.

Dear Mr. Valentin,

Just a line to advise you that the BRAQUE "Pure Abstract", of which I gave you a photograph, has been returned by the Museum of Modern Art -it is thus available in case you should be able to stir up some real interest in it.

I am off tonight for several weeks' vacation and I must admit that I am pretty glad to get out of the "oven city".

However, the gallery will remain open until the 24th., and my secretary, Mrs. Parker, will always be glad to answer any request you may make.

With best wishes,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
