Signed lower right : Odilon Redon

St. Sebastian is seen standing full length against a tall tree, his hands behind him, his head hanging. He is unclad except for a loin cloth. Three arrows directed at him, are stuck in the trees around him. The foliage about him is shown with brown, green, and various shades of blue. His body is shown in skin-color. The background is predominently a bright blue.
