March 7th, 1939 Dear Mr. Wildenstein: Following our conversation over the telephone yesterday, I wish to take this opportunity of thanking you on Mrs. Lewisohn's and Germain's behalf for your kindness in allowing us to include the Delacroix, "Desdemona Cursed by her Father" in our forthcoming exhibition entitled "The Stage" from April 3rd to 22nd. Unless I hear from you to the contrary, I will assume that this painting will be insured by you. Kindly be advised that we would like to call for this item on Wednesday, March 29th, so as to allow ample time for hanging and arranging the exhibition. With renewed thanks, and also for the information and photographs pertaining to the painting, I am Yours very sincerely, (Robert M. Levy) Felix Wildenstein, Esq. Messrs. Wildenstein & Co., Inc. 19 East 64th Street New York, New York [[^initialed]]
