January 15th., 1945.

Dear Mr. Aarons:

I wish to thank you without delay for your letter of December 19th., and I would like you to know how appreciative I am of the promptness with which you took up with the Bank of England, the matter I wrote you about.

I am at a loss to understand why the further necessary steps were not taken by Wildenstein and Co..

With renewed thanks,
Yours very sincerely
(Germain Seligman)
