OSU Exchange Handwritten edit: In genus, added e before o Handwritten edit: added author info I'm a bit confused regarding the instructions for "collector" They state "These are the people involved in collecting the plant and pollen grains. Please write them in using a LAST NAME, FIRST NAME format. In the example above, the collector would be "Skutch". For more than one collector, click the ?Add collector? link to add another text field to enter additional collectors. If missing, write ?collector unknown?. When cards reference an exchange only, like Jarzen Exchange, Jarzen will be the collector." However in the above example OSU is likely Oregon State University and therefore not a particular collector as Jarzen is when mentioned in "Jarzen exchange". I've notified @transcribeSI & edited with "collector unknown". >> Naming the exchange is pointing to where to find the information. When the pollen card came from an exchange, somehow all the info is in records related to the exchange -- but not on the card. It doesn't matter if it's Jarzen or Denver or USGS (Wolfe); we just record the pointer accurately. It would be helpful if the person leaving the above notes signed them. I've been in discussions with Dr Meghan Ferriter regarding the appropriate manner to transcribe these notes given the current instructions. If the above notes have been left by one of the scientists involved with the project I will of course do as requested. I'm keen to make sure that all volunpeers are on the same page and transcribing consistently and accurately. I'm sure all of us want to ensure the project is finished as accurately and speedily as possible. -@siobhanleachman
