Dear Herbert:

As I wrote yesterday I am calling your attention to CHRISTIE's sale, OLD MASTER DRAWINGS - FEBRUARY 25th, in which I have noticed quite a few drawings which could be of merit, though I realize that for some items they do not seem to be positive about the authorship.

Were you impressed by the quality of the following drawings, do be good enough to send me photographs, and your comments with valuations.

[[underline]]#40 - CRETI - AN ANGEL[[/underline]]

[[underline]]#50 - BARON GROS - SOLDIERS[[/underline]]

[[underline]]#51 - NATOIRE - VIEW OF ROME[[/underline]]

[[underline]]#54 - PROCACCINI - FEMALE NUDES[[/underline]] - However, here, should the dimensions be correct, just forget it - it is too small.

[[underline]]#84 - PRUD'HON - AN ACADEMIC MALE[[/underline]]

[[/underline]]#118 - GIANI - NEMINI PARCO[[/underline]]

[[/underline]]#134 - VERNET - RETURN FROM RUSSIA[[/underline]]

[[underline]]#185 - DEVERIA - [[DEVERIA?]][[/underline]]

[[underline]]#205 - BOULLOGNE - A MALE NUDE[[/underline]]

I assume that in the meantime you received my letter of February 4th in connection with the CORNEILLE and LEPRINCE drawings.

Thanking you in advance for your kind help and with warm regards,

Germain Seligman
