Tsuei Peh also named Tsuei Tze Si, an expert of the Imperial Art Academy of the north Sung dynasty, was skilled in painting flowers and birds all in a detailed pen. Since the time of Hwang Chuan and his son, the two foremost Chinese painters, Tsuei Peh ranks the highest.

This depicts a maple tree with leaves all turned to red; on the  branches magpies hopping and singing. This is considered one of the best old paintings
