Chow Chen Kwei ( a sceptre of jade)
diametre 5.2" in height 7" in.

Chen Kwei is of the shape of a spade usually held by the ancient monarchs as an emblem of having conquered all dominions and secured peace thereby.

On one ^[[end]] of it , there is a hold. It is of grayish color mixed with yellow, having a heavy coat of mould. This jade was excavated at Lo Yang , Honan and procured by the late Viceroy Tuan Fang.
