[[blue type]] Gilded Vessel [[pencil]] Bowl to hang [[/pencil]]

h. 1. 6" in. w. 6.3 1/2" in.

[[short horizontal line]]

this was excavated from Shanse, ten years ago and procured by a well known connoisseur. Judging from the quality of the vessel it must have been manufactured either in the latter Tsing dynasty or in the early Han period. It is covered with a heavy coat of green mould, due to its long contact with the earth underground. This is one of the few xxxxx vessels that are so finely decorated. [[/blue type]]
