Brinson Esq., Ag't Bureau R.F. & A.L. for Jefferson County, with instructions to have the party brought before the Civil Court. for trial, and report action taken by them - These papers to be refund with report. Endorsement on Petition of Samuel & Daily and fourteen others, citizens of Henry County, dated McDonough, Henry Co., Ga. May 29th 1866 - praying for the removal of James R. Phillips as Agent of the Bureau for Henry County, and the appointment of another Agent in his place. Respectfully referred to Jas. L. Dunning Esq., Ag't Bureau R.F. & A.L., with request that he will proceed to Henry County, investigate the within changes, and make such recommendations in the case and, in his judgement, he may consider the interests of the service require - Mr. Dunning is further requested to ascertain the character and competency of the County Judge of Henry Co., and, if satisfied of his fitness, to see if the Judge would consent to act as Agent of the Bureau in addition to his other duties - This paper to be returned.
