New York 22, N.Y. November 24, 1962 Dear Mr. Grigaut: How very good of you to have written me, as you did, on November 21st. Your silence was eloquent, if I may say so, in sofar that I realized you had no news to impart, and this for one reason or another. The absence from town of the party you had in mind explains this well. Thus, by all means do keep the folder and photographs as long as they will be needed - in the hope that the collector will be interested in one or the other item it was my privilege to show you here. With renewed appreciation of your courtesy and help, and with best personal regards, Sincerely yours, Germain Seligman Mr. Paul L. Grigaut Chief Curator The Detroit Institute of Arts 5200m Woodward Avenue Detroit 2, Michigan [signature]
