Mr. Germain Seligman acknowledges receipt of your lease for Apartment 8A, 47 East 51st Street, for the period November 1, 1947 to October 31, 1949. which he will return to you duly signed momentarily.

However, will you kindly confirm to him that during the course of next summer and at his convenience, you will repaint his apartment which was done in last July 1946.
