September 19th. 1955 Dear Germain: I will let the enclosed copies speak for themselves. Mrs. Steen phoned to say she had suceeded [[Succeeded]] in lightening the green background of the portrait by two shades, and the figures in the foreground of the Pestiférés. Miss Jean is back on the job and had seen Miss Morrison in Paris. As Miss Barton has no address through which to reach her, you may want to know Miss Morrison had already left for Italy before Miss Jean who understood she would not be back back in Paris and returning by way of Greece. From the enclosed clipping brought in by Miss Winter (I went to the country and my Times is at the apartment still unopened) the Wrightmans are going to be the great collectors.
