Notes on Transcribing this page (optional)
I have reviewed line by line and see no reason not to mark complete and ready to be reviewed. |---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---| Table was modified to change what is in each column. Adding alteration & modifying number of columns in promotion of clarity. Tried to keep known items in proper columns, even when they were written outside them (ie. Co. & Regt #) ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-06 14:08:52 transcription completed, still many [[?]] for attempts to discern before review. Unsure of formatting & how to review. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-07 22:19:36 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-08 10:01:56 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-08 13:28:12 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-08 15:22:04 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-08 17:49:51 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-08 17:54:15 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2024-03-09 12:21:53 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-07 13:05:55 -Memd'a is short for Memoranda -verified the following correct names with other records: R.A. Florey; Isaac Hicks; Darb Powell; Claiborne Wolverton; Isaac Burk -the word in the left most column is "Corp" not "Comp", indicating these soldiers were corporals. Verified against the NPS database. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-09 07:47:16 -the last transcriber altered the table headers from 5 to 7 columns, but then left all the contents formatted as 5 columns. This will cause it to fail to render as a table. So I made every row have 7 columns, inserting the pipes where it made the most sense to divide the information. This table was originally written without a lot of consistency, so some rows have information that doesn't neatly flow in the order the columns are laid out. I think this is as good as we can get it. ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-09 09:07:54 removed [[altered to 7 columned table]], comments are to be entered and not into transcription window - on page to left transcribed printed 10 columned table headings, the 7 columned table altered I transcribed headings per instructions, then on page to right added the printed 10 columned headings, still a couple of [[?]]s, but review again carefully ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-09 10:58:35 ---------- Reopened for Editing 2025-07-09 11:44:54
