NARA 632 REQUISITION. Office Capt J.W. Scully Quartermaster, U.S.A., V Burg Miss July 31st 1866. The Southern Rail Road and connecting lines, will, without delay, furnish transportation for the public property specified below, from V Burg Miss to Meridian Miss the freight to be paid by Asst Quartermaster U.S.A., Nashville Tenn, at Contract rates. Aug. 10ct/ or 100lbs for Transfer across Big Black Quartermaster U.S.A. TRIPLICATE BILL OF LADING. V Burg, Miss July 31st 1866 RECEIVED from Capt J.W. Scully AQM United States Army, the following articles of public property, as specified below, (contents and value unknown,) in apparent good order, to be forwarded to Meridian Miss by the Southern Rail Road and connecting lines, there to be delivered in like good order and condition, unto Capt JH Chapman ACS.
