168 terms for the sale of the land are deemed exorbitant. In case it is the desire of the Bureau to establish a temporary school at Fort Magruder, there is a Bureau or Govt. Building just outside of the Fort which can be made comfortable and convenient to accommodate 300 pupils for an estimated expense of $175.00/100. This would answer every purpose for two or three years, but would not be so pleasant or permanent as the School house before recommended. This structure is very old and considerably out of repair.
