Her character for truthfulness is not good in this county, she was sold away from here on that account. Thornton & Jessee left the county some time since, have not been heard from since, Jessee took with him his fathers effects after his death, also broke open Mr. John Long's meat house. Anderson is at Paul Colemans. Reuben is at Mr. James Balls, Kitty is in Fredericksburg, Mary, Francis and John at Mr. John Longs all doing well. (Sgd.) Hector Sears Bvt. Capt: & A.S.A.C. Bu. R.
