The parties within mentioned cannot be found, neither can I gain any information as to their whereabouts. There is a gentleman living about 9 miles from Rock Hill, by the name of John W. Robinson who I visited on the 10th inst but he appears not to be the gentleman in question. He states that he never owned and furthermore he never was acquainted with any children by the name of Harrison. I am of the opinion that Mr. Robinson, statement in this case is correct. I judge from the statement made by several prominent citizens of Rock Hill. (signed) M. J. D. Forrest Lieut. S.A. Comr Bureau R.F and A. Lds Hd Qrs Asst Comr of Va. Richmond Va Dec 21st/67.
