634 to Bureau Hd. Qrs, Septem'r 10th 1867, and has not since been heard from.— In absence of the Asst. Commr. E M Webber Inspector and A.A.A.G. N.34.3d Vol. 1867. DeLamater J.J. Surgeon in Chief 7.Vol 1st 1868.- Office Chief Med: Officer Washington, D.C. Decem'r 23/67. Respectfully returned to the A.A.A. Genl, Bureau R.F. and A.L. ~ The articles named in the enclosed account, are proper purchases from the Hospital Fund, except the item of straw - Act. Asst. Surgeon Nason certifies to the correctness of the accounts, they should therefore, after approval by the Surgeon in Chief District of Va, be paid for out of the Hospital Fund belonging to the Hospital at Yorktown, or of some other Hospital in the State of Va; of which, as appears from a statement made by Surg: DeLamater and referred by Genl Brown to the Commissioner, there seems to be a surplus.~ L.A. Qrs. 10th Sub District, Va) with the information that the within amount on bill of James Clark, against Robert Green - has been paid to the within Fanny, but not to the step Father, James Clark, - Mr Green would employ the said Fanny for the year 1868, at a compensation of $50.00 and her expenses to his place. - (Signed) E.B.
