May 6th, 1873 General: In the list of claimants sent to this office on the 14th March it appears that Treasury Certificate No. 591051 was issued in favor of John W. Tuttle } and } guardians of James Noland. } Thomas Noland } Minor Children Sally Noland } of Henry Noland, Pvt. Co. "A" - 6th Cav. Mr. John W. Tuttle reports to me that Mr. James Noland is dead, and that they were not joint guardians of the two children, but that he was the guardian of the boy Thomas
