NARA 668 Hopkinsville Ky AUg 14 1873 Genl. A.P. Howe Disbursing Officer Louisville Ky Dear Genl Pardon me for troubling you again about the claim of Parthene Moseley, mother of George Steel. She was not well enough to go to Louisville early this week as suggestedin your letter and her health is so bad that she does not wish to be detained in Louisille, which would be the case if she should go there. While you are about she has requested me therefore to ask you to fix a day when she sill be certain to find you there. So please write to me fixing the day immediately on receiving of this. Very Respectfully yours J.J. Landes Judge Hopkinsville Ct Co
