NARA0241 the case, certified by yourself and receipted by Mr. Stuart, and accompanied with a certificate of yourself as to the hour of departure of Mr. Stuart from Louisville, and the hour of his return to that point the same being necessary to meet the requirements of the accounting officers of the Treasury to enable them to pass upon the corrections of the charge for per-diem allowance.
