Papers presented Letters of Notif'n & Affidavits Enlisted –- When July 1864 Where Camp Nelson By whom Capt. Randolph Period 3 years. Mustered –- When 9 July 1864 Where Camp Nelson By whom Capt. Kinney Description –- Where born Lincoln Co., Ky. Age 45 years. Occupation Farmer Eyes Blue Hair B'k Complexion Dark Height 6 feet 3/4 inches. Discharged, [[strikethrough]] or died [[/strikethrough]] at Greenville, La on the ___ day of October, 1866 Commanding Officer Capt. Evans First Sergeant Harrison Shelby William Bolton and Alfred Williams Enlisted about the same time and place. REMARKS. Slave of Greenberry Bright, Lincoln Co., Ky., when enlisted. App'd. Capt. at [[?]] and promoted a Sergt. in the fall of same year. Reduced to ranks the Month of discharge by reason of reenlistment in Regt. Army.
