NARA 525 (Form 24.) Taylor Bright, "B" Co., 116" Reg't U.S.C. T's was born in Lincoln Ky., was enlisted the 2" day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by J. C. Randolph and was mustered in the 5" day of July, 1864, at Camp Nelson Ky, by Capt. Kinney, for 3 years. At the time of enlistment he was Thirty five years old and 6 feet - inches high, Black complexion, Black eyes, Black hair, and by occupation a Farmer. He was discharged [[strikethrough]](or died) [[/strikethrough]] 7" day of Oct., 1866, at Greenville La., Capt I. H. Evans was commanding officer, and Harrison Shelby first sergeant at time of soldier's Discharge. The following are the names of one or more of his company who enlisted at or about the same time and place: William Ballard enlisted, 2" day of July 1864, and Alfred Williams enlisted 2" day of July, 1864. REMARKS. 1. If a slave, that fact and name of owner will be noted here. 2. Any other peculiar fact or event connected with the soldier's history will also be noted. Joined at original organization as Corpl. Slave, of Greenbury Bright of Lincoln Ky. Promoted to Sergeant Sept 30" 1864. Discharged as a Private, having been reduced to ranks Oct 1st., 1866 by reason of re-enlistment in the Regular Army - A.H.E.
